What help do you need?

As Product Management evolves as a well-defined and repeatable discipline, there are a range of services where you may need help, support and coaching to make sure you benefit from the latest ideas, frameworks, models and thought-leadership, but backed by years of experience.

Alignment of Product Strategy

Effective Product Strategy has to be rooted in a well-defined Corporate Strategy. Make sure that you have a Product Vision that is aligned with the rest of the business, otherwise you will quickly see different parts of the business resisting your Product Plan without an obvious reason why.

Team Organisation and OKR's

Product Teams and their OKR's need to support the Product Strategy and be focused on near-term, measurable Product Outcomes. Defined and framed correctly, and with the right Key Results in place, they are a sure way to make sure everyone understands their accountability and what their personal and team success looks like.

3

Efficient Product Discovery

Product Discovery is the key to moving from a delivery-focused Feature Factory into a value-focused Product organisation that drives business and customer Outcomes. Done correctly, the valuable time you spend with customers are translated into long-term relationships and solutions that have ongoing appeal, worthy of their investment.

4

Working with Delivery Teams

The partnership between Product teams and the Development teams is vital in creating a productive, repeatable working environment that can be sustained for the long-term. Sometimes it's OK to have a healthy friction, as that can lead to stronger products. However, it's important that right mechanisms are put in place to encourage and support this ongoing collaboration in both the Problem Space and the Solution Space.

Roadmaps that work

Roadmaps need to communicate your vision and provide a sense of your priorities, but the format and content level may need to be tweaked for different audiences. They should also avoid being a 'Delivery Plan' - style that your customers and your business stake holders take as a complete timeframe commitment. Striking the balance for presenting roadmaps at the right level can be harder than it sounds.
